Ian Heard - Solo Trombone

 

Although born in Plymouth, Ian grew up in Exeter where he first played with Lymstone Band. He then spent 10 years in London playing for Crystal Palace Band where he met his wife Emma (Flugel). Supports Exeter FC and enjoys exercise  walking his black labrador puppy ‘Archie’.

Nick was a band member of the Royal Marines for a number of years before retiring and joining Soundhouse in 1993.  Employed in a City Centre printing and copying company Nick says that although he has been a member of the band for about 15 years his Straight and Cup Mutes have clearly been around much longer!
